Here is the uncomfortable, freeing truth: your kids learn more from who you are than from what you tell them. You can lecture them about nutrition while stress-eating at the counter, or preach calm while losing it in traffic, and they will absorb what you do, not what you say. The most powerful parenting tool you have is your own behavior.
So model the whole human you want them to become. Move your body because it feels good, not as punishment. Eat real food without drama or diet talk. Name your feelings out loud and handle stress in front of them, I am frustrated, I am going to take a walk, so they learn that being human is safe. Rest without guilt. Talk about your own body with respect. They are always watching, and they are building their blueprint from you.
This is not about being perfect, it is about being real. When you mess up, and you will, let them see you own it and repair it. A kid who watches a parent apologize, take care of themselves, and keep growing learns the most important lesson of all: that being a whole, healthy human is a lifelong practice, not a destination.
